Job summary

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-ray Technician to join our urgent care team. The role includes performing radiologic and medical assisting duties, patient intake, and front desk support in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of Radiologic Services, hold an LMRT license, and have 1+ year of clinical experience. BLS and federal screening certifications are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required by state.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) preferred.
• LMRT license in state of residency.
• 1+ year clinical experience beneficial.
• Ability to obtain BLS within 30 days.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months.
• Must obtain Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties: vital signs, patient history, labs, EKGs, prepares exam rooms.
• Check patients in/out of the computer; assist Patient Representative with front desk duties.
• Assist with front desk duties: greeting patients, check-in/out, End of Day close out, records release.
• Maintain records/logs on activities (in-house labs, drug screens, labs sent out).
• Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
