Job summary

Medaxis LLC in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Territory Manager to manage an established wound care portfolio. You will drive product utilization of NPWT dressings and disposables, expand customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities within healthcare accounts.

The role requires 1–4+ years in healthcare or medical device sales, with wound care experience preferred. Travel up to 50% and a base salary of $80,000 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of healthcare, medical device, wound care, or similar B2B sales/account-management experience.
• Wound care sales experience strongly preferred, especially with NPWT or related devices.
• Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts, strengthen relationships, and increase product utilization.
• Hospital, clinical, or OR sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze account performance, prioritize opportunities, and develop actionable growth plans.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing a territory or portfolio of accounts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive Account Growth: increase revenue, utilization, retention, and penetration across healthcare accounts.
• Expand Product Adoption: grow NPWT dressing and disposables usage, support patient starts, and identify opportunities.
• Build Customer Relationships: maintain engagement, understand needs, and address barriers to adoption.
• Support Account Conversions: assist new accounts from evaluation to sustained utilization via onboarding and education.
• Promote Product Utilization: coordinate education and training with Clinical team to drive adoption.
• Identify Growth Opportunities: spot opportunities for account expansion, new business, and equipment purchases.
• Manage Territory Performance: keep CRM activity, account plans, forecasts, and follow-ups up to date.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with Sales, Clinical, Customer Service, and channel resources to resolve issues.
