Job summary

The Alden Network in Rockford, IL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care to residents in accordance with applicable laws and facility policies. You will assist with basic activities, monitor resident well‑being, and report changes to the nursing team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe and compassionate environment, and participating in care plans and rounds under supervision of the Wound Care

Qualifications

• Must possess current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Must be at least 16 years of age, of temperate habits and good moral character.
• Provide evidence of employment or occupation, and residence for two years prior to initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all nursing procedures and dress code as per policies.
• Assist with turning, positioning, and daily rounds for residents.
• Document care and rounds in Point of Care (POC) as required.
• Monitor skin integrity and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily care tasks.
• Participate in resident care plan conferences and rounds as directed by nursing staff.
