Job summary

Healogics operates the nation's largest wound care network and is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Wound Care Center in Springfield, MO. The role involves patient care, intake/discharge processes, and potential Case Manager duties as assigned.

Under supervision, you may perform HBO-related tasks after training and collaborate with physicians, program directors, and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BSN preferred; wound care certification preferred.
• Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge processes as assigned.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed.
• May serve as Case Manager to a group of patients; conducts initial nursing assessment, documents care plans and tracks patient status.
• Performs HBO related duties after hyperbaric training; may serve as hyperbaric safety director.
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers and program/medical directors regarding clinic and patient needs.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as required.
