The role includes wound assessment, discharge planning and potential case management, with opportunities to participate in HBO procedures following specialized training.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, an active RN license, and at least some wound care experience, with BSN and wound care certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and manage intake/discharge
• Assist in vein clinic and HBO-related duties after training
• May serve as Case Manager including assessments and care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and program/medical directors
• May act as Documentation Assistant as needed
• Perform other duties as required
