Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes as assigned
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients
• Perform initial nursing assessment and communicate findings to the physician
• Document care plans and evaluate patient status against outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educate patients or caregivers
• Perform HBO related duties after training
• Possibly serve as hyperbaric safety director after training
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and program/medical directors
