Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Wound Care Center to provide patient care, manage intake and discharge processes, and support clinic operations. You will collaborate with care teams and perform nursing duties in a structured environment.

Requirements include RN licensure and ADN; BSN and wound care certification are preferred. Strong communication, organization and clinical skills are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
• Customer service and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Teaching ability; experience educating patients or staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and teamwork.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and nursing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and handles intake/discharge processes per center policies.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after training.
• Serve as Case Manager for a group of patients as assigned.
• Conduct the initial nursing assessment and document care plans.
• Communicate findings with the assigned physician and plan care accordingly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, Program Director and Medical Director as needed.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) as required.
• Performs HBO-related duties and related training as assigned.
