Job summary

PACS is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to plan, organize, and direct QA programs across the facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and compliance with regulations. You will analyze trends, prepare reports, and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to implement educational actions based on findings.

The role emphasizes infection control oversight, reporting, and participation in state/federal deficiency corrections.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensed with 3 years LTC experience.
• QAPI training or certification a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct QA programs and activities.
• Attend facility committees supporting the QAPI program.
• Monitor trends and prepare quality reports for QAPI.
• Educate IDT with findings and action plans.
• Oversee infection control, surveillance, and outbreaks as needed.
• Assist with HIPAA, Abuse Prevention, and Infection Control trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality and report breaches.
