Job summary

PACS in the United States is seeking an LPN/LVN or RN to provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities.

You will manage charting, medication administration, care planning, and staff development while coordinating with physicians, residents' families, and other departments to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered nursing license to practice as an LPN/LVN or RN in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory abilities and ability to plan, organize, and direct nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with policies and procedures.
• Lead shift planning, staffing, and reports.
• Participate in quality assurance and surveys.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
