Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to plan, organize, and direct QA programs within a long-term care facility. You will develop and coordinate QA and assessment initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.

Working with the IDT, you will monitor trends, prepare quality reports for the QAPI committee, and lead education efforts. Infection control, adverse event investigations, and survey-deficiency remediation are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN with 3 years in long-term care.
• QAPI training or certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct QA programs and activities.
• Attend facility meetings/committees to support QAPI.
• Monitor trends and prepare quality reports for QAPI committee.
• Develop processes with QAPI to assess systems of care incl. clinical care, quality of life, and resident choice.
• Educate based on findings; work with IDT for training.
• Track, monitor, and investigate adverse events with action plans.
• Oversee infection control program including reporting, surveillance, and investigation of infections.
• Participate in corrective actions for State and Federal survey deficiencies.
• Attend in-service training (HIPAA, Abuse Prevention, Infection Control).
• Maintain confidentiality and report breaches.
