Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Rock Hill is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead wound care initiatives and coordinate interdisciplinary treatment plans on a full-time, on-site basis.

In this role, you’ll oversee wound care services, collaborate with clinicians to guide treatments, educate patients and families, and drive hospital-wide wound care education efforts while staying current with evolving techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patients and families on wounds and wound care.
