Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead and develop wound care services at our Loganville, GA location. You will collaborate across clinical teams to implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and drive hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an active RN/PT/OT license, at least 1 year of wound care experience, and CPR certification. This role emphasizes education, compliance with regulatory standards, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.
• License/Certification: RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist for acute rehab hospitals; RN for long-term acute care hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
