Job summary

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guide treatments, educate patients and families, and drive hospital-wide wound care initiatives.

The role emphasizes ongoing education, staying current with wound care advancements, and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality care in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• RN, physical therapist, or occupational therapist license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience.
• Ongoing wound care education through seminars/professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
