Qualifications

• RN license is required for acute rehab hospitals; RN is required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Ongoing wound care education through seminars or professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in line with regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead hospital-wide wound care education for staff and educate patients and families.
• Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on latest wound care techniques.
