Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Wound Program Coordinator to lead wound care services within our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans and educate patients and families.

The role requires an active RN/PT/OT license, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience. You will stay current on advances and help educate hospital staff while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT licensure required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
