Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas seeks a Wound Program Coordinator to lead wound care services with physicians and clinical teams. You will educate patients and families, supervise care plans, and drive hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds an RN, PT, or OT license, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience, with a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Ongoing education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
