Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support front office operations at an outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect charges, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical office administration, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred.
• Two or more years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors, answers and routes calls to staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Collects and enters patient charges; verifies and reconciles charges; transmits data to providers.
