Qualifications

• Prior medical coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors; routes calls to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains patient communication: scheduling, rescheduling, and reminders.
• Verifies patient insurance information and handles pre-certifications/pre-authorizations.
• Records patient charges and reconciles accounts in databases.
• Assembles and maintains patient charts; files and audits data entry.
