Job summary

Healogics, LLC. is seeking a Patient Navigator to manage front office duties and support a busy outpatient wound care center.

You will greet patients, schedule visits, verify insurance, and enter charges in databases, while coordinating with hospital departments and staff to ensure smooth operations. The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with confidentiality and teamwork

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer and route calls to staff.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments including reminders and rescheduling.
• Verify patient insurance information and obtain pre-certifications/pre-authorizations.
• Enter charges and maintain patient charts in databases.
• Coordinate testing with hospital departments and arrange patient transportation.
• Maintain office equipment and supplies and perform other duties as required.
