Job summary

PACS is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure high-quality care per physician orders and facility policies. You will communicate care plans, provide direct resident care, and document responses, while collaborating with physicians and the nursing team.

Responsibilities include wound assessment, medication administration, and assisting with visits. Must hold an active nursing license, CPR, and ongoing CE credits.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license as an RN or LVN; CPR certification required.
• Must maintain continuing education for licensing and stay in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Plans of Care with residents and families, including PT/OT treatment.
• Provide resident care following physician orders and medications.
• Observe wounds and monitor infection signs; notify physicians as needed.
• Document nursing notes reflecting care and resident response.
• Assist physicians during visits and examinations; coordinate with health professionals.
• Keep residents' dignity and privacy; support family communications.
• Participate in staff training and facility surveys as requested.
