PACS Group is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective and efficient care as prescribed by physicians and facility policies. The nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and must meet licensure and CPR requirements.

The role emphasizes dignity in care, detailed charting, and coordination with physicians. The incumbent will handle Plans of Care, administer medications, observe and report changes, and participate in ongoing staff training while maintaining compliance with federal and state

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Maintain a current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Communicate regularly with residents and their family about Plans of Care, PT, OT and other treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including carrying out physician’s orders for care, including providing medication and treatment.
• Perform treatments in a manner that protects the dignity and self-respect of the resident.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers when making visits and conducting examinations.
• Notify family and attending physicians of significant treatments related issues.
