Job summary

PACS is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure high-quality care for residents in our post-acute facilities. You will follow physician orders, perform treatments, and maintain professional care plans while upholding facility policies.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN or LVN license, CPR certification, and at least two years in long-term care. Strong communication with residents, families, and the care team is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Current RN or LVN license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate plans of care with residents and their families, and coordinate with the care team.
• Provide resident care in accordance with physician orders, including medications and treatments.
• Observe wounds and report progress or deterioration to physicians promptly.
• Assist in preparing and updating care plans for treatment-related issues.
• Support physicians and other health professionals during visits and examinations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding resident care and treatment.
