Job summary

PACS is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective and efficient care as prescribed by physicians and facility policies. The nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and must adhere to federal, state, local, and corporate standards to maintain high-quality resident care at all times.

Responsibilities include communicating with residents and families about Plans of Care, carrying out orders, performing treatments, monitoring wounds, and assisting with care plans.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Current CPR certification and licensure as RN or LVN/LPN.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including carrying out physician orders for care and treatment.
• Communicate with residents and families about plans of care and treatment protocols.
• Observe and assess wounds, document progress, and notify physicians of changes.
• Assist in preparing and updating care plans and participate in training of staff.
• Maintain nursing documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
