Zusammenfassung

The Treatment Nurse at PACS Group will ensure effective and efficient care as prescribed by physicians and facility policies. You will document care, communicate with residents and families, administer medications and treatments, and observe wounds while maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities include updating care plans, assisting physicians, and reporting changes to the RN Supervisor or DON, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ongoing training for nursing staff.

Qualifikationen

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license and CPR certification.
• Maintain continuing education and stay in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Aufgaben

• Communicate regularly with residents and their family about Plans of Care, PT, OT and other treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care including carrying out physician's orders for care, including providing medication and treatment.
• Chart nurses' notes reflecting the care provided and resident responses.
• Observe wounds and assess infection signs; notify physicians promptly of progress or deterioration.
• Assist physicians during visits and examinations and communicate with health professionals.
• Participate in facility surveys and staff orientation/training.
• Report significant findings or changes in condition to RN Supervisor or DON.
• Maintain nursing standards in accordance with federal, state, local and corporate guidelines.
