PACS is seeking a Treatment Nurse to ensure effective and efficient care as prescribed by the physician and facility policies. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires adherence to standards and guidelines to maintain high-quality resident care.

The nurse will communicate with residents and families about plans of care, document care, perform treatments, and assist physicians during visits. Experience in long-term care and a current RN/LPN license with CPR is required.

Formación

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Maintain a current, unencumbered RN or LVN/LPN license and CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate regularly with residents and their family about Plans of Care and other treatment protocols.
• Provide resident care per physician orders, including medication and treatment.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Observe and assess wounds and notify physicians of changes or infection signs.
• Assist in preparing and updating care plans for treatment-related issues.
