Job summary

Healogics, LLC. seeks a Clinical Patient Navigator to support a dynamic outpatient wound care center with dual administrative and clinical responsibilities. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate testing while supporting RN/provider workflows.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CMA/EMT/CNA certification, current state license, and 2+ years in medical office administration. Familiarity with BLS and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred.
• CMA/EMT/CNA certification approved by CAAHEP or ABHES is required.
• Current CMA/CNA/EMT license in the state of employment, maintained throughout.
• Minimum two years office admin experience; medical setting preferred.
• Prior medical coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients, answers calls, schedules and reminds appointments.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance, pre-authorizations for services.
• Enter charges in databases and assist with data reconciliation.
• Assemble/maintain patient charts and coordinate testing with hospital departments.
• Assist RN/provider with wound care tasks and intake/discharge activities.
• Document care plans, communicate with team to ensure quality of care.
• Perform other duties as required.
