Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support a busy outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, coordinate scheduling, handle insurance verifications, and assist providers with daily operations to ensure smooth patient flow.

Essential duties include charting, data entry, appointment reminders, and coordinating with hospital departments. A fast-paced, team-based environment with an emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy awaits.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; route calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders; coordinate with providers.
• Enter patient insurance information, pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enter and verify patient charges in databases; help with daily reporting.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with ancillary testing coordination.
• Arrange patient transportation and manage office equipment and supplies.
