Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator to manage front office functions and support a dynamic outpatient wound care center. The role blends administrative tasks with clinical support, following hospital and CMS guidelines.

You will coordinate patient flow, insurance verification, and charting under RN/provider supervision. Qualified candidates will have CMA/EMT/CNA credentials, 2+ years of medical office experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Graduate from CMA, EMT or CNA program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Current CMA, CNA or EMT certification licensed in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years office administration experience; preferably medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors, handles calls, and routes to staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling and reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information and pre-authorizations.
• Enters charges in databases and transmits to providers.
• Assembles and files patient charts; maintains data completeness.
• Coordinates testing with hospital departments and patient transportation.
• Under RN/Provider direction, provides wound-related patient care as approved.
