Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator to support a busy outpatient wound care center. This dual administrative/clinical role streamlines workflow and delivers high-quality patient care.

Under RN/provider supervision, you will handle scheduling, intake, transportation coordination, and chart maintenance, while ensuring compliance with CMS and hospital policies. Minimum of a high school diploma with CMA/CNA/EMT certification and 2+ years of medical office experience; strong

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of CMA/EMT/CNA program as required by state.
• Current CMA/CNA/EMT license in the employment state.
• Minimum 2 years of medical office administration experience.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, and route to staff.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments and reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications.
• Enter charges and assist with data collection and documentation.
• Assist RN/Provider with wound care as approved by policies.
• May assist in intake/discharge and Vein Clinic after training.
