Job summary

International Workplace Group plc (IWG) is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive workspace solutions by converting leads, prospecting new clients and expanding existing relationships in the Illinois region. You will present tailored proposals, close contracts and promote value-added services across our flexible-work network.

The role requires proven outside sales experience, superb communication and negotiation skills, and a consultative selling approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales or field-based sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
• Fluent English with proven networking and client-management capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Focus on conversion by tours, tailored proposals, contracts and promote services.
• Prospect for new opportunities via meetings with brokers and direct client engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities through digital marketing, field visits, networking and follow-ups.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, industry trends and competitors.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and inside sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to strong sales performance by meeting/exceeding KPIs in a dynamic environment.
• Record sales activity and customer interactions in CRM software.
