Build-A-Bear Workshop in Grapevine, TX is seeking a TEMP Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring excellent Guest service, effective staff management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

You will assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments, hiring decisions, leading shifts, driving sales, maintaining brand standards, overseeing inventory, and developing a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional Guest

Qualifications

2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric retail environment.
High school diploma.
Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in determining associates’ daily assignments and directing work.
Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in hiring and promotion decisions.
Lead and inspire your team during scheduled shifts, enforcing store policies and standards.
Drive sales as the Floor Leader, coaching Bear Builders to meet/exceed targets.
Ensure merchandising displays align with brand standards and create an inviting environment.
Oversee inventory management processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
Build and develop a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.
