Job summary

Sysmatch is seeking a Workplace Services Engineer L2 (USA Resident) for remote work. You will keep end-user computing estate running to SLA, deploy software, patch systems, manage configurations via SCCM/Intune, and handle incidents end-to-end.

The role requires 2–4 years in EUC/endpoint operations, SCCM + Intune proficiency, Windows client OS, Entra ID fundamentals, PowerShell, strong English, and ITIL v4 Foundations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep end-user computing estate running to SLA — desktops, laptops, and VDI.
• Package and deploy software to the company portal following packaging standards.
• Perform patch cycles for OS, drivers, and Microsoft security updates (aim 98% patch compliance).
• Deploy workstation configurations via SCCM/Intune; manage BitLocker, LAPS, Defender health.
• Handle incidents and service requests per runbooks; escalate complex cases to L3 with full context.
• Maintain CMDB and inventory; produce SCCM/Intune status reports.
• Enable EUFS and other providers for domain joins and remote installs.
• Run and adapt existing PowerShell scripts for routine tasks.

Workplace Services Engineer L2 (USA Resident)- Remote M/F

Your responsibilities include:

• Keep end-user computing estate running to SLA — packaging, deploying, patching and resolving incidents on desktops, laptops and virtual desktops, following defined standards and procedures.
• Package & deploy — Build and publish standard software packages (MSI/EXE) to the software/company portal from defined packaging standards; execute mass deployments and re-imaging.
• Patch operations — Run OS, driver and Microsoft security/critical patch cycles per the patching plan, meeting the 98% patch-compliance SLA.
• Configuration execution — Deploy workstation configurations, GPOs and Wi‑Fi/printing agents via SCCM/Intune to L3 design; operate BitLocker key recovery, LAPS and Microsoft Defender agent health.
• Incident & service request handling (ITIL) — Resolve incidents and service requests within runbooks; reconcile before closure (nothing closed “Resolved” without successful reconciliation); escape complex or non-standard cases to L3 with full context.
• CMDB & inventory — Keep HW/SW inventory and the CMDB (ServiceNow) accurate; produce SCCM/Intune status reports.
• Cross-team enablement — Enable EUFS and other providers for domain join, local installs and console access; perform remote installations and configurations.
• Applied scripting — Run and adapt existing PowerShell scripts for routine tasks.

You must have:

• ~2–4 years in EUC / endpoint operations
• SCCM + Intune (operate), Windows client OS, Entra ID (Azure AD) fundamentals,
• Scripting: PowerShell (run/adapt)
• English [C1/C2 level]
• Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundations
• USA Resident

Salary Range: 78.000€- 80.000€ Gross Annual + Benefits
