Support and implement networking, infrastructure, and technology solutions for small and mid-sized clients.

You will serve as a key escalation resource for complex Level 2 technical issues across desktop, server, and network environments.

The role combines hands-on troubleshooting, project engineering, client support, and infrastructure implementation.

You will help reduce resolution times, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute directly to successful project delivery.

Working across technologies such as Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, networking, cloud connectivity, and security, you will solve diverse technical challenges.

You will also maintain accurate documentation, monitor service performance, and collaborate with service coordination and project management teams.

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced technology environment where continuous learning, client relationships, and technical excellence are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking technologies, systems, software, and applications based on client business requirements.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve escalated service desk issues across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and fixes at the desktop, server, and network levels, including software installations and upgrades, backup configuration, and system administration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, research technical problems, determine appropriate solutions, and follow through until resolution.
  • Support technologies including Apple hardware and macOS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Cisco Meraki, Dropbox, and related platforms.
  • Assist with larger implementation projects, smaller technical projects, and onsite support engagements as required.
  • De-escalate client issues involving outages, communications, and other service-impacting situations while maintaining a strong customer experience.
  • Conduct post-resolution follow-ups and ensure service requests and tickets remain accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, client network documentation, and technical records following system changes.
  • Prepare daily operational status reports and project status reports when required.
  • Complete assigned technical and special projects while maintaining accurate time entries and meeting utilization expectations.
  • Coordinate work assignments with service coordination and project management teams.
  • Maintain a current work calendar and provide situational awareness updates for high-profile clients and projects.
  • Maintain professional certifications and support vendor certification initiatives as required.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of new technologies, platforms, tools, and solutions.
  • Take ownership of key performance indicators including average time to resolution, customer satisfaction, employee utilization, and SLA adherence.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an MSP, service desk, corporate IT, technical support, consulting, or similar environment supporting small to mid-sized clients.
  • 5+ years of project engineering experience.
  • College degree from an accredited four-year institution or equivalent relevant technical experience.
  • Strong experience with Apple hardware, macOS, Google Workspace, Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Intune, and JAMF.
  • Experience supporting Outlook and the Microsoft 365 administration portal.
  • Hands-on experience administering and securing Windows workstation and server operating systems, including sharing, patching, security, and Group Policy within a Windows domain environment.
  • Experience with cloud storage, remote connectivity solutions, and advanced networking technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting and remediating endpoint detection and response (EDR) issues.
  • Experience implementing and remediating backup solutions.
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise Automate or a comparable remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, with CCNA certification or extensive knowledge of the OSI model preferred.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, JAMF, SonicWall, Fortinet, or CompTIA are preferred.
  • Current MCSE, MCSA, or comparable Microsoft certification is preferred.
  • Previous customer support, sales, or technology experience is valuable.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to build rapport, listen, and ask effective questions.
  • Strong multitasking skills, sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work on-call and outside standard business hours when required.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to access customer information, systems, and/or premises when required, subject to applicable customer approval.
Benefits
