Job summary

NFX in San Francisco seeks a Workplace Experience Manager to own the Hayes Valley office, elevating daily operations and the guest experience. You will greet founders, candidates, investors, and guests, ensuring every interaction reflects NFX’s warm, thoughtful culture.

You’ll oversee office logistics, vendor relationships, events, IT support, and onboarding/offboarding. This in-person role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for exceptional employee experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in workplace experience, office operations, hospitality, or a high-touch environment.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day experience of the Hayes Valley office and make it a place where people want to be.
• Welcome founders, candidates, investors, and guests and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression.
• Manage the details that keep the office running beautifully—food, supplies, conference rooms, and building needs.
• Oversee workplace vendors and building management and know who to call when things go sideways.
• Plan and execute internal and external events, including catering, AV, check-in, setup, and teardown.
• Coordinate day-to-day IT, security, and privacy operations with our external IT partner.
• Ensure new employees have everything they need on day one and support onboarding/offboarding processes.
