AtlantiCare is seeking a Workforce Relations Consultant to lead and implement employee relations and the equal employment process. You will identify behaviors and incidents within employee relations issues, provide sound recommendations, and ensure policy adherence.
You will review disciplinary actions and evaluation tools to spot trends and development needs, supporting teamwork and organizational goals with a strong focus on service excellence and compliance.
The Workforce Relations Consultant is responsible for leading and implementing the employee relations and equal employment process at AtlantiCare. This position is responsible for identifying specific behaviors, incidents, and consequences within employee relation and equal employment issues and for making sound recommendations. The Workforce Relations Consultant consistently demonstrates knowledge of established policies and procedures and maintains the issue resolution and grievance process. This position also reviews all disciplinary actions and assessment and evaluation tools to identify trends and developmental needs within the divisions. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required; Labor Relations experience preferred. In lieu of the degree, at least 3-5 years of Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations experience required.
1-3 years human resources experience required.
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires occasional walking, stooping standing. Long periods of sitting also required. Works with such equipment as computer, fax machine, copier and printer. Essential functions of this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
