The Department of Labor and Employment Services in Atlanta is seeking an Employment and Training Advisor to coordinate direct services for participants under WIOA. You will perform case management, develop individualized service plans, and connect clients with employment and training opportunities.

Under supervision, you will maintain up to 150 files, refer clients to partner agencies, monitor service quality, and prepare reports.

Formación

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of workforce development and WIOA regulations.
• Familiarity with local and state workforce regulations and policies.
• Knowledge of federal grant regulations.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Experience with databases and data analysis.
• Proficiency with relevant software and technology.
• Ability to create detailed reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates aptitude tests and inventories to assess client strengths.
• Manages a caseload of up to 150 files.
• Refers clients to agencies to address needs identified.
• Intercedes on behalf of clients when needed.
• Monitors services for quality and appropriateness.
• Delivers case management to remove employment barriers.
• Maintains customer case records consistent with policies.
• Updates information in the Georgia Workforce System (GWS).
• Participates in staff meetings to discuss client status.
• Facilitates pre-employment and job-readiness workshops.
• Submits required reports.
• Assists Site Supervisor as Primary Lead during absence.
• Tracks and reports data to promote service quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
