Career Team is seeking an Adult and Dislocated Worker Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services for participants in the Adult or Dislocated Worker Program. The role involves guiding individuals toward employment, training, and education, with data entry and compliance duties.

The position emphasizes meeting benchmarks, working onsite, and traveling up to 15% within the region. A strong knowledge of WIOA and community resources is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making.
• Computer literate with MS Word and Excel; ability to learn specialized databases.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse customers and be culturally sensitive.
• Ability to motivate clients to achieve goals.
• Meet and exceed goals; strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the WIOA program and workforce requirements.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Provide information and case management services for WIOA participants.
• Assess job seekers' employment, abilities and training needs via interviews and tests.
• Serve as liaison between workforce development programs and community partners.
• Enter data into Work In Texas and process participant information.
• Guide job seekers through individual employment plans (IEP).
• Stay informed on labor market trends and best practices.
• Counsel on job opportunities, training, and services.
• Refer individuals to services and follow up.
• Conduct orientations, workshops, and group presentations.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure eligibility documents.
• Meet or exceed program benchmarks; participate in meetings and supervision.
• Complete required reports in the data system.
