Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks an experienced Workforce Development Trainer to lead staff trainings and professional development. You will design curricula and deliver programs to enhance coaching, job placement, and career guidance for Career Services staff.

The role involves collaborating with HR and leadership, onboarding new hires, and aligning content with industry needs. Strong facilitation, design, and LMS proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in title 1 WIOA services or related training role.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and training software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programs, curricula, and lesson plans for workforce development.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on job readiness, technical and soft skills.
• Assess learner progress through assessments and feedback.
• Tailor learning strategies to different styles and skill levels.
• Collaborate with leadership and industry experts to align training with labor market needs.
• Provide career guidance and coaching to staff for career growth and job placements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of training attendance and outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends and update content accordingly.
• Report data on training outcomes and program effectiveness.
