Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated career advisement professional to build strong client relationships, provide comprehensive case management, and coordinate workshops at our York-area centers. You will ensure documentation compliance and help participants reach employment goals.

The role emphasizes training delivery, data-driven case notes, and collaboration with schools and management to meet contract requirements. A Bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum, public speaking and content development.

Responsibilities

• Build a professional one-on-one working relationship with clients to aid in eliminating challenges that hinder employment.
• Provide consistent and comprehensive case management and follow-up.
• Conduct new customer orientation and ensure required documentation is completed and received.
• Facilitate all professional development workshops.
• Maintain organized database of clients and documentation of all contacts.
• Provide individualized assessment of work and referrals to community or social services.
• Complete required enrollment documentation accurately.
• Document participant contacts and activities in case notes and ensure post-placement contacts are made.
• Create solutions to participant attendance problems.
• Assist in preparation of project reports (participation, placement).
• Manage programs including coordination of workshops and grant allocations.
• Identify available jobs and workshops to prepare jobseekers for these positions.
• Develop and maintain a standard communication plan to keep staff informed.
• Participate in training and process improvements with leadership.
• Provide operational support and coverage as needed.
• Assist in intake services for the Center.
• Provide compliance-driven standards support.
• May be assigned other tasks related to the role.
• Other duties as assigned.
