Job summary

Associated Builders and Contractors is seeking a Coordinator for Workforce Development & Safety to oversee education systems, apprenticeship administration, program delivery, and workforce analytics. The role ensures successful implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement across ABC National programs with operational support for staff.

The position focuses on collecting and analyzing program performance data, coordinating sponsorships, and supporting committees and student networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of three years experience supporting health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs, construction safety initiatives, risk management, or related programs.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, initiatives, or programs while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience collecting, analyzing or reporting program or operational data.
• Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel by air or automobile, as required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report program performance data to support program evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment activities to ensure contractual obligations are met and sponsor benefits are delivered effectively.
• Provide operational support to workforce committees, advisory groups and task forces by coordinating meetings, developing agendas, preparing reports and monitoring action items.
• Coordinate the operations of the National Student Chapter Network and Construction Management Competition, including committee support, sponsor coordination, communications and event logistics.
• Develop, maintain and regularly update workforce toolkits, implementation guides, templates and other resources that support chapter workforce initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of workforce resources, training materials and digital content to support chapters, members and workforce professionals.
