Job summary

Sabathani Community Center is seeking a Workforce Coordinator to lead workforce development initiatives, provide individualized career coaching, and coordinate training cohorts. You will connect participants with employment opportunities, internships, and postsecondary education, while maintaining partner relationships to support program goals.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, strength-based approaches, collaboration with employers, and adherence to grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Human Services, Workforce Development, Business, Education, Public Administration, or related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two to four years of experience in workforce development, employment services, career coaching, case management, education, or related human services.
• Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment is preferred.
• Experience developing employer partnerships or business engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, enroll, and orient participants into workforce development programs.
• Conduct Healthy Lifestyle Assessments, career assessments, and develop individualized employment and career plans.
• Provide ongoing case management, coaching, and barrier reduction services.
• Assist participants in obtaining transportation, childcare, housing, food assistance, driver's licenses, work clothing, tools, and other supportive services.
• Maintain regular contact with participants throughout training and employment retention.
