Job summary

Metrocrest Services, Inc. is seeking a Workforce Manager to coach neighbors, cultivate employer partnerships, and connect people to education and career opportunities. The role emphasizes labor‑market knowledge, strategic thinking, and a strengths‑based approach.

Typical hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for program needs. You will lead a team of Workforce Specialists, design training programs, and collaborate across pillars to embed employment goals in each

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in related field.
5–8 years of experience in workforce or career development in nonprofit/social services.
3–5 years supervisory experience leading a workforce or related program team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or comparable system.
Strong project management skills with ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Workforce Specialists, setting direction and supporting growth.
Build and maintain employer partnerships — develop hiring pipelines, coordinate job fairs, and negotiate on‑the‑job training.
Design and oversee job readiness programming, including workshops, coaching, and curricula.
Connect neighbors to skills training and credentialing programs in in‑demand industries.
Track workforce outcomes in Salesforce and report data to leadership.
Collaborate across program pillars so employment goals are embedded in coaching plans.
Represent Metrocrest in workforce coalitions and employer networks.
