CVS Health is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and operate workforce analytics software, spanning Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations. You will partner with data and HR specialists to translate requirements into maintainable code, tests, and releases.

The role emphasizes security, governance, and scalable data workflows with BigQuery and Superset, while leveraging GitHub Actions for CI/CD in a cloud-first environment.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or a comparable language, including automated tests.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, services, data workflows, or production systems.
• 2+ years experience with BigQuery, including scripting, partitioning, clustering, and optimization.
• 1+ year experience with Git, code review, and CI/CD practices.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Write automated tests for business logic, data contracts, and integrations.
• Develop BigQuery transformations and models following conventions for grain, keys, history, and efficiency.
• Implement workforce metric definitions in SQL and BI integrations.
• Document changes and obtain metric owner approval before release.
• Contribute to Superset datasets and dashboard integrations; support API and reporting features.
• Maintain Airflow workflows, Python automation, SQL assets, and deployment-related code.
• Follow GitHub Actions release process across environments and IAM controls.
• Diagnose defects using logs and tests; contribute fixes and operational docs.
