CVS Health is seeking a Software Engineer to build and operate analytics software for Workforce Insights. You will work on Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations, partnering with data and HR teams to translate requirements into reliable code, tests, and releases.

The role involves developing BigQuery data models, maintaining Airflow workflows, and contributing to Superset datasets while adhering to security and quality standards.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or a comparable language with automated tests.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, services, data workflows, or production systems.
• 3+ years across application code, data transformations, and operational tooling.
• 2+ years of advanced SQL expertise, preferably BigQuery.
• 2+ years of Kimball dimensional modeling concepts.
• 2+ years of Airflow/Cloud Composer and Python for ETL.
• 2+ years with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred).
• 1+ year with BI semantic layers such as Superset/Looker/Power BI.
• 1+ year of Git, code review, and CI/CD practices.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for logic, data contracts, and integrations.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models following conventions for grain, keys, history, and efficiency.
• Implement workforce metric definitions in SQL and BI integrations.
• Document changes to reported numbers and obtain definition-owner approval before release.
• Contribute to Superset datasets and dashboard integrations; support API, caching, and SSO features.
• Maintain Airflow workflows and deployment tooling; use GitHub Actions across environments.
