Confidential Employer in Bloomington-Normal, IL is seeking an attorney to independently manage workers' compensation defense matters from intake to resolution. The role includes representing employers/insurers in hearings and depositions, developing litigation strategies, and drafting essential legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage workers' compensation defense cases from initial investigation through resolution.
• Represent employers and insurers in hearings, depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies, analyze medical evidence, and negotiate favorable settlements.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, case evaluations, and other legal documents.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues on complex cases while developing your own practice.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
