Qualifications

• Ability to meet Chicago hybrid schedule and travel needs.
• Workers' compensation defense and billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend workers' compensation claims and develop strategies for resolution.
• Evaluate case records, research issues, prepare legal documents and correspondence.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and settlement discussions.
• Keep clients informed about case developments and options.
• Collaborate with attorneys while managing deadlines, case documentation, and time.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location

Chicago, IL, with a hybrid schedule generally including one to two office days per week after onboarding. We'll welcome you into the office more frequently initially so you can get comfortable with our team and systems.

Note

An active Illinois law license, 2+ years of experience as an associate attorney, and 1+ year of workers' compensation law experience are required. Prior workers' compensation defense experience is a plus.
