Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice pathway completed with 3+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2+ years in Claims or Insurance
• High School Diploma and 5+ years in Claims or Insurance; must obtainadjuster license(s) and comply with regulations

Responsibilities

• Document claims file by accurately capturing and updating data within authority limits
• Assess liability and coverage based on applicable facts and law
• Develop case strategy and reserves to achieve timely claims resolution
• Negotiate settlements within authority and keep within budgeted costs
• Ensure regulatory and internal control compliance and confidentiality
• Coordinate with subrogation and fraud teams as needed
