Capgemini is seeking a Workday Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking Lead to join our global Workday practice in New York. You will act as a functional lead responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking for global and U.S.-based clients.

You will partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to deliver scalable, compliant workforce management solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep functional expertise across Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills.
• Lead workstreams through the full project lifecycle: discovery, design, config, testing, deployment, support.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Facilitate client workshops and requirements gathering.
• Configure payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, and processing frameworks.
• Design complex absence plans, accrual rules, and compliance-related processes.
• Configure and support Time Tracking: time entry, schedules, overtime, shifts.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge sharing in the Workday practice.
• Contribute to business development activities and solution demonstrations.
