Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an HRIS Business Analyst – HR Systems to serve as a strategic liaison between Human Resources, HRIS, IT and business stakeholders, translating needs into scalable HR technology solutions. The role leads requirements gathering, process analysis, design, testing and implementation support across Workday and related HR technologies.

You will partner with stakeholders, drive improvements, maintain data quality and controls, and help deliver outcomes that enhance efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years in HRIS, HR tech, business analysis, or related systems.
• Experience with Workday HCM strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to gather and document requirements.
• Experience mapping processes and designing solutions.
• Experience supporting enhancements, releases, testing and UAT.
• Understanding of how changes affect configuration, reporting, integrations, security.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and stakeholders to understand needs, risks, outcomes.
• Lead requirements sessions and translate needs into functional specs and user stories.
• Analyze current and future processes to simplify workflows and improve UX.
• Challenge unclear requirements and clarify underlying business problems.
• Collaborate with HRIS teams to design scalable Workday solutions.
• Evaluate impact on Workday processes, configuration, reporting, integrations and security.
• Develop and coordinate test scenarios, regression tests, and UAT.
• Support implementation planning, change readiness, adoption, and validation.
• Analyze complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and propose solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions and prioritize enhancements by value, risk, and impact.
• Maintain documentation of requirements, flows, specs, testing, and changes.
