Apache Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a HRIS Lead to act as the internal expert for Workday HCM, reporting to the VP of IT.

This full-time, in-office role based in Houston involves configuring HCM, security, and talent modules, and partnering with HR and IT to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions. The position requires 5+ years of Workday HCM experience, strong stakeholder management, and a focus on data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience.
• Deep functional expertise in Core HCM, org structures, security groups.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting and/or Talent Management.
• Experience managing Workday bi-annual releases, impact assessments, and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal SME on Workday HCM for HR, IT, and stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end configuration of Workday business processes, security, and org structures.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management to design and implement solutions.
• Lead unit, regression, and UAT testing for configurations and integrations.
• Support Workday integrations with payroll, benefits, ATS, and background checks.
• Maintain system documentation, process flows, and SOPs.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across Workday.
